Project Prakash
Booklet Design
Project Prakash has been working since 2005 at the very grassroots of India, in hundreds of villages, connecting them to the most sophisticated treatment available and building awareness regarding treatable and preventable blindness. Project Prakash Charitable Trust provides sight treatment free of cost to children who cannot afford it or are not aware that their condition can be corrected.
Project Prakash approached me to create a booklet to highlight their children's success stories. They wanted to make it impactful and resonate with their mission of enlightening lives of children.
Together we strike a balance between the formal and playful side of Project Prakash by bringing together contrasting fonts and colors. The yellow shade used here as an accent color was chosen to represent the light that Project Prakash brings and how much more light it aims to spread.
